Community Gardens are getting cooked, canned, and stored up
The Willits Integrated Service Center is moving into the next gardening season. With the over abundance of Green tomatoes, unripened peppers and garlic along with some helpful guidance from Jaynene Johnson, some of the Community Gardeners are making fermented salsa. More nutritional, easier to make, and a tasty way to use produce that isn't ready, The fermented green salsa is a hit!
